Being from Augusta, Georgia, there is so many things my hometown is famous for... The Augusta National (home of the Masters golf tournament), the Savannah River, the boyhood home of Woodrow Wilson, and of course, my hometown is the birthplace of the godfather of soul, James Brown. But when I first came across this challenge, none of the above came to mind.
So I started looking through my pictures that I need to scrapbook, and I came across pictures of my oldest's very first time at a concert, Lady Antebellum. Two members from Lady A, Charles Kelly and Dave Haywood, are from Augusta. What a better way to showcase my hometown?
As I already stated, this was Madison's first concert. David and I waited until we sat down to even tell her why we were there. She was so excited once we told her. The concert was on a school night and Madison fell asleep before it was even over. We have been to a second Lady A concert since this one, and took the youngest one in addition to Madison. We stayed the entire time at that one.
